✨Full Edition 👉🏽 Send Reports to SFTP
Reports can now be sent to SFTP servers via the Docentric File print destination.
- Configure SFTP server endpoints with user/password or private key authentication (stored in the database or Azure Key Vault), and optionally define proxy settings.
- When running a report, specify the remote folder path, overwrite rules, and whether to create non-existing folders automatically.
🎁Free Edition 👉🏽 Print Archive Cleanup
A new Print archive cleanup job helps manage archived report records and their corresponding archived report documents.
You can choose which entries to delete, run the job interactively or in batch, and control document removal per Document type used for archiving. A soft limit of 10,000 records per job is applied to prevent performance issues.
💫Other Improvements
- Suppress document routing: Prevent accidental printing to network printers – especially useful in UAT or test environments.
- Emailing updates: Send messages with only Cc/Bcc recipients and use a new data entity for Improved Collections process automation emailing.
- Extended SharePoint security: Choose an access mode (interactive, on-behalf-of, or app-only) when testing access to the default SharePoint server or any SharePoint URL.
- Improved utilities: Docentric Query Browser enhancements are now applied to the built-in Advanced filter or sort form (available under Page options on every form in D365FO), along with Docentric Label Browser bulk label copy and smarter registration of reports in the Docentric report setup.

👀A Sneak Peek into the Docentric AX Roadmap: What’s Next
The upcoming Docentric AX releases will expand document generation, post-processing, and delivery capabilities across both Free and Full Editions.
Key roadmap items include:
- Generated Report Attachments – Configure additional reports to generate automatically with the master report, based on Docentric templates, SSRS designs, or ER formats.
- Merging and PDF Embedding – Combine or embed Loaded and Generated Attachments with the master report, enabling ZUGFeRD and similar hybrid PDF scenarios.
- Excel Support – Add support for Excel templates and Excel output.
- ER-CBD and e-Invoice Printing – Print ER-CBD and e-Invoice formats using Docentric print destinations. All Docentric Free Edition features currently applied to SSRS will apply to ER formats as well. 😍
- Business Event Integrations – Automate sending generated report documents or e-Invoices (for example, to Peppol Access Points) via Logic Apps or custom APIs, extending the SFTP delivery introduced in version 3.5.0.
Very exciting times are ahead of us 🤩. What can you do? Stay tuned!

Is this version compatible with FnO version 10.0.44 (10.0.2263.140)? Thank you.
Hi Anuj,
Docentric AX product supports all MS supported D365FO versions, so yes, this version is compatible with D365FO 10.0.44 version. 🙂
Kind regards,
Ana
Please confirm this is compatibility to V46. Thanks
Hello Stuart,
Docentric AX strives to be compatible with all D365FO versions that are supported by Microsoft.
We can confirm that Docentric v3.5.0.1 is compatible with D365FO version v10.0.46.
Hi ,
Is Docentric 3.5.0 compatible with Microsoft service update 10.0.47 ?
Hi Baber,
As 10.0.47 is not yet generally available we only had chance to test PEAP version of 10.0.47 with our latest version 3.5.1 and we didn’t encounter any compatibility issues.
Our recommendation is to upgrade Docentric whenever you upgrade D365FO as that ensures that you are the latest version of Docentric that is tested to be compatible with the current Generally available version of D365FO.
Is the version 3.5.0.1 will be compatible with D365 F&O version 10.0.48
Hi Sadia,
As 10.0.48 is not yet generally available, we’ve only tested it using the preview (PEAP) version of D365FO together with Docentric 3.5.1.4.
In our tests so far, everything worked fine and we didn’t see any compatibility issues.
That said, preview versions can still change before the official release, so they’re not something we can fully rely on for production.
Because of that, our recommendation stays the same, when you move to a new D365FO version like 10.0.48, it’s best to also upgrade Docentric to the latest version. That way you’re always aligned with the officially supported and fully tested setup.
Is version 3.5.0.1 compatible with D365 F&O version 10.0.48
Hi Radouane,
Since Docentric X 3.5.0.1 is released well before 10.0.48 became Generally Available, our recommendation is to upgrade to the latest version of Docentric AX 3.5.1.4 which is fully compatible with the 10.0.48.
While you may not encounter any issues while using 3.5.0.1 with 10.0.48, it is best practice to upgrade Docentric whenever you upgrade D365FO to ensure compatibility.
