Video Docentric Supports DATA_Fair Conference 2026

For the second year in a row, Docentric contributed to the DATA_Fair conference, held in Ljubljana on February 12, 2026.

DATA_Fair brings together engineers, data scientists, AI specialists, and tech leaders to share practical experience and discuss developments in data and AI. The conference also makes a deliberate effort to give more women a place on stage.

Why Women’s Visibility in Tech Matters

Women are already building products, solving complex technical problems, and leading technology companies. But they are still less visible on conference stages and in conversations about technical expertise and leadership.

DATA_Fair is trying to change that by putting more women on stage and giving them space to talk about their work and expertise.

Seeing women in these roles matters. It challenges old assumptions about who a technical expert or tech leader looks like. And for women earlier in their careers, it provides more examples of where their own careers can take them.

That is one of the reasons Docentric supports DATA_Fair.

Ana Gligorijević Shares Her Own Journey

Our co-founder and CEO, Ana Gligorijević, joined Mateja Verlič Brunčič, Senior Director of Engineering and Operations at Databox, for a conversation about building and leading a technology company.

They talked about Ana’s journey from Software Engineer to CEO, what she learned while building Docentric, how her role changed as the company grew, and her advice for women considering leadership roles.

Watch key highlights from the conversation:

Ana looks back at Docentric’s journey and talks about what made the biggest difference in building the company.

Ana started her career as a Software Engineer. As Docentric grew, so did her role. She talks about moving from technical work into leadership and how she had to change the way she thought about her role.

Ana shares her advice for women considering leadership roles, and a simple experiment they can try.

Ana talks about what growth means for Docentric beyond getting bigger, and why the kind of company we build matters as much as its size.
