In this presentation, our expert, Albin Lotrič, first explains the basics of Electronic Reporting and Configurable Business Documents (ER/CBD). Then, the process of customizing existing ER configurations by deriving them from the original Microsoft configurations is presented.

The customization includes the changes in the configurations required to display Product images included in Sales invoice lines in the modified Sales invoice report template. This is done first using the standard ER format editing (in ER Format Designer and MS Excel) and then using Docentric AX Template Designer (in MS Word).

Finally, everything is run and tested to see if it works as expected. The presentation concludes with advice on when to opt for Standard ER versus Docentric ER.
