In every warehouse, various documents and labels are created to support the operations. Every business likes to have its own templates, so these documents are always modified to the customer's needs.
In this session, we will demonstrate the most typical warehouse processes with a focus on generating the accompanying documents and labels. As we go through the process, we will show how you can easily customize them with Docentric and adjust them to your requirements, avoiding customizations and complex ZPL coding.
Join the Docentric and InterRaddish joint session at DynamicsMinds, featuring Miha Vuk from Docentric and Jan Jusup from InterRaddish.

For label which does not have SSRS report, will it support designing in word ?
Hi Goldie,
Can labels without an SSRS report be designed using Docentric Word templates?
Not directly.
Docentric Word template design works on top of the SSRS reporting framework, which means an underlying SSRS report is required.
For labels that already use SSRS, Docentric can take over the rendering and enable design using Word templates. However, some labels such as standard warehouse labels generated in ZPL bypass SSRS entirely, so there is no integration point.
Docentric has addressed this for License Plate labels by introducing a SSRS report that acts as a bridge and replaces the direct ZPL printing approach.
For other labels without an SSRS report, the same approach would need to be implemented and is not available out of the box today. This is already on our roadmap. Once such a report layer is introduced, Docentric can enable full design using Word templates.
Like Amir explained we have supported Word desigsn also for warehouse labels which do not have standard SSRS report. Technically we have developed for them a trivial SSRS report, but the users do not need to care about it.
