Many of you have probably heard of Electronic Reporting and (Configurable) Business Documents. It allows you to customize the report data model without development by choosing what data to include and how to map it to the data sources. It also allows you to design the templates using Excel or Word, which are then populated with the data at runtime.
This session will explain the basic concepts and show how to obtain and customize existing ER configurations. We will discuss how to avoid the most common pitfalls and demonstrate some best practices we have developed using this technology.
