Print reports from common journals (Free Edition): Users can now print reports directly from common journal forms (interactively, in bulk, or in batch) with or without using Print management.
Send reports to SFTP (Full Edition): A new SFTP print destination allows reports to be sent directly to SFTP servers with support for various authentication methods and dynamic path/filename configuration.
Print archive cleanup job (Free Edition): A new periodic job is available to clean up the Print archive based on specific criteria like report ID, user, or date of the record.
Quality Improvements Areas
Internal Azure Blob storage: Improved error handling and file naming validation when saving files to internal storage.
Docentric Designer and Document Generator: Resolved barcode generation issues for specific types and fixed XML serialization errors for DDSP files.
Emailing: Fixed a report download issue when ‘Email without report’ and ‘Preview’ are both enabled and resolved permission restrictions for the ‘Restart send’ button in the Batch email status form.
General: Added delegates to support the import of custom extension fields into report templates.
Advanced Filter or Sort: Resolved “RegisterOverrideMethod” and “Master FormDataSource” errors.
System and Utilities: Fixed a critical issue where the AOS would crash and restart during an Azure Blob Storage reconnection attempt following a token expiration.
Report Attachments (Full Edition): Added support for other print destinations, enabling rules for loading or generating documents with new options to merge, embed, or print them as separate files.
E-Invoicing: Enabled the generation of ER-based e-Invoices (UBL, PEPPOL…) in parallel with the main report, including full support for ZUGFeRD/Factur-X by embedding XML data, applying XMP metadata, and converting the final output to PDF/A-3 format.
Advanced Email Tokens: New way of email address resolution from multiple sources (Invoice, Order, Project, etc.), including related Contact persons and Logistics addresses.
Quality Improvements Areas
General: Resolved a report printing failure to Azure Blob storage caused by invalid contract casting when Print management records are missing, fixed XML validation errors in build pipelines caused by special characters, and corrected a cross-company execution bug for alert rules
SFTP File Destination: Fixed path resolution logic to ensure relative SFTP paths are resolved against the working directory instead of the root.
Template Data Security: Fixed an issue where Docentric security roles assigned indirectly through role hierarchy were not recognized.
Print reports from common journals: Added a ‘View all’ Print archive button to project invoice journals and resolved “Object reference” errors in batch parameters, as well as an issue where reports were printed twice when bypassing Print Management.
System and Utilities: Enhanced Application Insights telemetry by tracking the specific duration of secondary PDF generation required for Print Archive storage.
SharePoint: Fixed a critical template download failure occurring when using SharePoint Online authorization, which previously prevented document generation.
Docentric Viewer: Fixed an export error occurring when attempting to save reports based on built-in SSRS designs to Excel or Word formats.
General: Fixed an issue with adding additional columns to the grid in the ‘All attachments’ form when opened from the Docentric AX workspace.
Docentric Designer and Document Generator:
Introduced expanded support for modern CSS color syntax (including RGB, HSL, and CSS4 space-separated formats) and extended Latin character support in the XPath char() function.
Several critical stability issues addressed, including document generation failures caused by corrupt or empty custom XML parts, cross-thread Designer crashes during Live Preview, inaccuracies in image scaling and DateTime placeholder formatting.
SharePoint: Fixed a sporadic invalid_grant error during SharePoint operations under high load.
Print reports from common journals: Resolved a dynalink issue when the Print archive form is popped out into a new window from Customer invoices and fixed the attachment counter placeholder resolving for empty grids in the ‘Print archive’ form.
General: Fixed a NullReferenceException issue in the DocReportExecutionTimesContext.getContextId() method by adding a null check for batch headers during report batch processing.
Improved accuracy of report execution times, when reports are executed in batch, asynchronous, and nested scenarios.
Fixed invalid file names being used when loading stored documents from the Print archive into memory (e.g. when downloading an email with an attached report from Print archive).
Configurable Business Documents (CBD):
Added new Error and Warning handling feature, which let’s you choose how ER model mapping error messages are handled (whether to display/hide them and whether to stop execution on error).
Added support for journal-based ER model mapping for project invoice reports (e.g., InvoiceProject mapping under the Invoice model ER configuration). Previously, only RDP-based mapping was supported.
Sharepoint: Fixed SharePoint errors caused by an older SharePoint CSOM library version being loaded before Docentric could load the correct version.
