Online Authenication No Longer Working for SharePoint after upgrading to v 3.5.1.0

My company has been testing Docentric version 3.5.1.0 in the UAT environment, mainly in preparation of the planned depreciation of IDCRL authentication.

Prior to the update, Online Authentication was working fine, however after updating Docentric and attempting to run reports with templates stored in SharePoint, I am getting the following errors:

Failed to download file (file: https://xxxxx.sharepoint.com/sites/ERPSystems/docentric/Templates/Production/SalesConfirm.Report.docx). The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.

Failed to retrieve file content from the SharePoint URL (https://xxxxx.sharepoint.com/sites/ERPSystems/docentric/Templates/Production/SalesConfirm.Report.docx) using the credentials (Authorization type: Online, Username: admin@xxxxx.com).

Please advise if I have missed some additional setup to get this working after the update. The user configured in online authentication parameters does not have multifactor authentication enabled.

Hi @ablD3FO,

Thank you for posting! We are aware of this issue - it appears to be related to a bug in a library used for modern OAuth authentication that is used instead of deprecated IDCRL authentication. A fix is already in the testing phase and is planned for release this week.

We appreciate your patience!

Hi Blaz, we have the same issue :frowning:

Hi @Markus @ablD3FO

I’m glad to inform you that we’ve prepared a new version where the issue you reported should not happen anymore.

Please upgrade to version 3.5.1.1.
