Hi Team, Our customer has resently installed the free version to enhance email capabilities. In print management we have selected the option to see the email before sending. When selecting the different options for attaching the relevant document the pdf file is not attached. Word and csv formats are OK and we see the attachment but the PDF attachment is not available. Can you give me some suggestions, many thanks.

It sounds strange that the report PDF file is not attached. What report is in question? Do you get any errors or warnings? What are the D365FO and Docentric versions?
Does that happen when you disable Open email before sending? What happens when you select preview before print? Does the report get generated on the screen, what then happens after you continue printing to Email?
It comes without saying but also make sure that the flag Email without report is disabled:
Hi Semir, thanks for your reply. D365 10.0.43 and Docentrics 3.4.9.2. I’m testing with the PO and SO and both have the same behaviour. There are no errors/warnings. When selecting the preview before print the confirmation document is presented on screen, when I continue the email is downloaded. When I open the email there is no attachment. If I do this with csv or word then I see the attachment. We have disconnected Graph in UAT so there are no emailing mistakes during any testing, but I have attempted to send the email and in the email error history it does look like there is a pdf attachment.
Can you do additional troubleshooting and let me know the results:
- Try printing to Docentric File print destination using PDF output file type
- Try printing to Docentric Email print destination without downloading an email but rather sending it to the actual email address
- Try printing to SSRS Email print destination using PDF File format

File print destination - works OK the pdf is downloaded.
I have configured email parameters in UAT so when the email is sent the PDF attachement is available. So then it is only when the email is downloaded without sending that there is an issue with the pdf attachment.
Also, when changing the parameters now to suppress with download this also works, the downloaded email has the pdf attachement - so this will be good for UAT.

We haven’t seen issues like this before with other customers.
Does the issue happen on other environments and/or with other users as well?
Could it be that you have made customizations or are integrated with some 3rd party solutions?
