Batch job for posting and printing invoices doesn’t consider the Print management settings

Recently, a client reported that they have a batch job for posting and printing invoices, configured to print through Print management. Print management is configured to use the Docentric Email Print Destination.

However, after batch is executed, invoices are posted, but none of them are printed, i.e. sent via email. The batch job didn’t report any error.

It seems that the batch job parameters were cached from some earlier setup, where Use print management destination was not active.

Solution:

The client solved this by clearing the Use print management destination flag and saving the change, then enabling the flag again.
