ExternalItemID character limit extended

Hi,

We have extended the character limit of the External Item number from 20 to 40 characters. We have a Docentric template that we upload to the SalesInvoice report in D365 with the ExternalItemID to output the item number in the invoice template. However, the number output in the invoice comes out shortened. The template only shows the first 20 characters of the item number.

Is there any settings we need to configure for the entire number to be outputted in the sales invoice report?

Hi @zainab.jahad,

The behaviour of the output depends on either paragraph or Table properties. Generally, the long numbers will break in multiple lines when there is not enough space. Can you share the template so I can take a look? If the template contains sensitive business data, please send it via email to our support on support@docentric.com.
